A Poem for Thomas A. Cirmo
As I sit and gaze out the window now,
I see my memories from days gone now.
Memories of days that made me laugh.
Memories that made my heart glad.
As I sit here gazing now, I pray a prayer so honest now.
I pray a prayer now lifted high.
I pray for those loved ones of mine.
I pray a prayer of life and love.
I pray a prayer so true and one.
As I sit here gazing out the window now, I lift my prayer to you oh God.
I pray for those near and far.
I gaze beyond the window far.
I pray a prayer for love lost and far.
I pray a prayer for my love so true.
That one-day we will be one with you.
As I gaze beyond the window far,
I can not help but ponder now.
I prayed every day for
all my family here and now.
I pray for my family for long life and love.
A love that is shared and true.
As I pray out the window now, I see all the faces
here and now. Faces that allow me to sit and pray as days go bye.
To give meaning to my voice each day and now.
As I look beyond the window far
To see the memories that brought me so far.
When I see the face I long, I know my work shall be done.
But for now, my life goes on to pray a prayer so honest now.
Now that I should close my eyes, I know that God is by my side.
For if prayer, is a prayer of love, I know that God will listen from above.
As I look out my window now, and as I breathe my last breath now
I see my loved one now found.
Now my work is complete, to heaven gate we both are bound.
It is now for you to look out the window now,
and pray a prayer from the heart now. To see all the
faces that are here and now. Faces from the past so wonderful and true.
A prayer of that; is a prayer of Love.
As you pray beyond the window now, pray a prayer for the kingdom to come where we will be with God above.
