A Note of Thanksgiving On the 3rd Anniversary of the Pope John Paul II Eucharistic Adoration Chapel at St. Elizabeth A Seton Parish in Naperville, IL.

You have come to us throughout our history as the Word, the Eternal Logos, the Creator, Jahweh, The Great I Am, God the Father, The Son, and the Holy Spirit, The Lamb, The Suffering Servant, Our Savior, Jesus the Christ.

We have come to You Lord as ourselves, weak, imperfect, humble, frail, yet made in Your image and likeness. Created in love by You, "to Know You, To love You, To Serve You in this world and to be happy with You in the next".

It is good to be here in adoration. In Your presence on the mountain in ancient times we wanted to pitch a tent, for it was good to be there, yet you come to us where we are. Then with Your own words You taught us how to pitch our tent for You and told us that there You would dwell with us and remain with us until the end of the age.

We have pitched our tent, and it is good to be here. And again here, You have come to be with us in a special way here as You are present always and everywhere. In adoration we have come to You; to honor You, to ask and to thank You for Your boundless grace and mercy. For over a thousand days we have come to worship You, to be with You, in thanksgiving that You are with us always and everywhere.

The sun rises and sets in our lives with You, by You, and for You oh Lord. We wait an hour in prayer and watch with You as you have asked us. As You are present for us in the very real substance of the bread of the Blessed Sacrament, we too have made ourselves present in a special way for you in quiet prayer and adoration.

Thank You oh Lord of all kindness, for helping us pitch our tent where we humbly adore and give you thanks and praise in Your special presence. Thank You for the gift of faith and prayer which has brought Your blessings upon our faith community. We have brought You to the center of our lives, and You have showered us with Your grace. We are confident that You will continue to bless us with Your eternal love and answer our every prayer as we continue to come to You in adoration.
