How incredible this perfect gift

Himself with us, forever He lives

This Eucharist, Body and Blood of His

In love is Jesus, our Lord who gives

From the first breaking of the bread

His presence therein, never to end

"Take and Eat" He said in love

Himself forever He does now send

All the eternal majesty of our Creator,

God Himself, in bread and wine

Given freely with love, as love Himself

A miracle too wondrous to define

"He who eats… shall live forever"

God, with us, till the end of time

Never alone again, then and now

Truly present in simple bread, Divine

Manna for our journey, His promise

His Word made flesh, His presence sublime

With us and in us as then now forever

His promise until the end of time

For Your true presence, as Eucharist for me

True body, blood, soul and divinity,

Present here and now for us You share

Your perfect gift for all eternity

For being here for me when I need

To strengthen, love and comfort my soul

Through Eucharist, Your gift, I receive

Only an hour with You I stay

And look upon this Bread you share

In Your embrace I kneel and say

Jesus my Lord I’m yours today
