Monthly Adoration Prayers

Father/Child

During this month we invite all fathers/grandfathers or prospective fathers in our parish who are able, to make a personal commitment to one hour per week in prayer in the adoration chapel with one or more of his children in thanksgiving for the gift of Fatherhood, for special intentions and for a continued faith filled relationship with, and example to his children mirroring the example of St. Joseph.

Mother/Child

During this month we invite all mothers/grandmothers or prospective mothers in our parish who are able, to make a personal commitment to one hour per week in prayer in the adoration chapel with one or more of her children in thanksgiving for the gift of Motherhood, for special intentions and for a continuation/renewal of a faith filled relationship with, and example to her children mirroring the example of Mary the Mother of Jesus.

Family Adoration

During this month we invite all families in our parish who are able, to make a personal commitment to one hour per week in prayer together in the adoration chapel in thanksgiving for the gift of each other, for special intentions and for a continuation/renewal of a faith filled relationship with each other mirroring the example the Holy Family.

Men’s Adoration

During this month we invite all men (post teens) in our parish who are able, to make a personal commitment to one hour per week in prayer in the adoration chapel alone or with another man, in thanksgiving for the gifts they have been given; for special intentions and in prayerful reflection on the responsibilities of Christian manhood, and for a continuation/renewal of a faith filled relationship with God as mirrored the example of Joseph and the Saints.

Women’s Adoration

During this month we invite all women (post teens) in our parish who are able, to make a personal commitment to one hour per week in prayer in the adoration chapel alone or with another woman, in thanksgiving for the gifts they have been given; for special intentions and in prayerful reflection on the responsibilities of Christian womanhood; and for a continuation/renewal of a faith filled relationship with God as mirrored the example the Mary and the Saints.

Husband / Wife Adoration

During this month we invite all married / engaged couples in our parish who are able, to make a personal commitment to one hour per week in prayer in the adoration chapel, in thanksgiving for the gifts of each other and the love they have been given; for special intentions, in prayerful reflection on the responsibilities of Christian marriages; and for a continuation/renewal of a faith filled relationship with God as mirrored the example the Holy Family.

Dating / Singles Adoration

During this month we invite all those who are dating, or are single to make a personal commitment to one hour per week in prayer in the adoration chapel, in thanksgiving for the gifts they have been given in life, for support and guidance in developing wholesome and holy relationships, for special intentions and for a continuation/renewal of a faith filled relationship with God as mirrored the examples of the Saints.

Friends Adoration

During this month we invite all parishioners who can to make a personal commitment to one hour per week in prayer in the adoration chapel with a friend, in thanksgiving for the gifts they have been given in life, for friendship, for ongoing support and guidance in maintaining wholesome and holy relationships, for special intentions and for a continuation/renewal of a faith filled relationship with God as mirrored the examples of the Saints.

For the Born and the Unborn

During this month we invite all parishioners to make a personal commitment

to one hour per week in prayer in the adoration chapel with a friend, in thanksgiving for the gifts they have been given in life, for the special intention of the preservation of the sanctity of life from conception to natural birth, for protection of all the unborn, for an end to abortion, and in support of all unwed mothers and unwed mothers to be, that they choose and honor the sanctity of life.

Advent Adoration

During this month we invite all parishioners who can to make a personal commitment to one hour per week in prayer in the adoration chapel with a friend, in thanksgiving for the gifts they have been given , in preparation for and in anticipation of the birth of Christ; for a truly blessed Christmas season filled with love and focused on the ultimate gift of God’s Son, for the gift of "right priorities" in our Christmas celebration, for a blessed Christmas for all those who are in need

Easter Adoration (13TH FOCUS AREA AS AN OPTION)

During this month we invite all parishioners who can to make a personal commitment to one hour per week in prayer in the adoration chapel with a friend, in thanksgiving for the gifts they have been given , to refocus and amend our lives in preparation for and in anticipation of Christ’s death for our sins, and in thanksgiving for the grace of new life in Him given to us through His resurrection.

Teen Adoration

During this month we ask all teens in our parish to make a personal commitment to one hour per week in prayer in the adoration chapel with a teen prayer partner, in thanksgiving for the gifts they have been and are discovering in life, for special intentions, in prayerful reflection on the responsibilities of teens as examples to each other and as future leaders of our world, and for a continuation/renewal of a faith filled relationship with God as mirrored the example the Saints.

 

Children’s Adoration

During this month we ask all parents of chilren in our parish to make a personal commitment to one hour per week in prayer in the adoration chapel with one or more of their children and one or more of their childrens friends as a group. To pray thanksgiving for the gifts of love and family and health they have been given; for their own special intentions, and for Jesus guidance and protection as they grow into teens and adults, and for a faith filled relationship with Jesus as mirrored the example the Saints.
