I’ve always been
A child of God
His glory lights my life
Each touch a grace
The Spirit brings
Strength that I might live

He knows I am
So weak and lost
So warmth He brings for free
His angels tend and comfort me
That I may truly see

He feels my hurt
My pain and fear
And takes it on Himself
He hold my hand with tenderness
And brings my hope
