Surprises of the Spirit

How often have I said:

                Wow, hard to believe!  

Incredible, I don’t understand!

Amazing how that works!

An incredible set of circumstances!

Beyond my comprehension!

How fortunate!

What luck!

What a fortunate coincidence!

      I can’t believe how this worked out!

Only to reflect on God’s great plan:

And recognize the Holy Spirit

At work in even the smallest of things

Bringing the breath of God to our lives

Imparting His love deeply in our hearts

Guiding us on His pathway

Helping us grow in faith

Showing us the right way

In the most surprising ways

And Finally See Clearly:

                His plan in our lives

                                His unconditional love for us

                                                His constant care

                                                                His breadth of forgiveness

                                                                                His true presence

                                                                                                This God of wonder
