You are my every breath, dear Lord

I open my heart and inhale your grace

Then breathe out all that pulls me away

All that ties me to this earthly place

Your word I need to hear Oh Lord

To listen well, to hear it clearly and live

To hear the good news of Your life and Your love

And of all the blessings You continue to give

I need to look to You at all times

For You, the Light of my life can help me see

Help me that I may find You in others, always

That I mirror for others, Your truth to see

Your wish for my life is to "Taste and See"

Through the love of others I taste your grace

In forgiveness I feel Your boundless mercy

Help me bring Your love to every place

Your love is what I feel in when loving

Your comfort I am called to share

In trials You bring me ever closer

In bringing You to others I show I care

Your touch is felt in every feeling
