From a speck of unseen seed

New life springs forth

Slowly growing, from darkness to light

Reaching higher grasping life

Stretching forth its arms

Reaching unto the sky

Stretching to catch the light of life

Branching out to spread its good news

A bud, a bloom, a flower unfolding

Revealing color and shape

Sending forth scent to announce and attract

Spreading life as new growth begins

Robed in beauty, in regal fashion

Many the same but changing, different

Attracting others, bright and shining

Bringing a smile on cloudiest of days

Cut and gathered, placed together

In exploding colorful bouquets are bound

Now a palette, of rainbow shading

Lighting tables and rooms alike

My start, a speck, a seed to start

I’ve grown and reached so hard for the light

Stretching forth to life and love and longing

In shape and color and form and right

I’m gathered together in living unity

Of color and shape and form, God made

When brought together in colors and shapes

Achieving life through love and God’s light

Use me Lord, help me grow and flower

To bring color and life to those all round

May this life you have given be nurtured and loved

As fed by Your grace spring I from the ground

Use me to show You, in color and shape

To those who’se lives are in need

Bring me together with others who love You

In a colorful bouquet of faith, love, and deed
