MESSENGER OF THE SPIRIT

Into a time of uneasiness
Into a time of self doubt
And into a time of imbalance
You walk, rather “burst”
From within, toward the without
Stepping into the breach
To confront uneasiness with His peace
To confront self doubt with confidence
To confront imbalance with insight
Revealing a clearer view of His plan
Excitedly unwrapping the oft times hidden gift of faith
Clearly presenting Jesus as the way, the truth, the life
As messenger, translator, guide and teacher
Together with the Son and the Father
Soaring on the wings of the Spirit
Bringing to life the face of priest, prophet and king
Enfleshing the image of a passionate Christ
To all you will meet
And serving your sisters and brothers
As a holy voice and guide
Leading all you meet through desert times
With feet planted firmly on the right path
From Damascus toward Emmaus
Pointed firmly toward Home
