In Little Things

It is no little thing that I am here in this place

Created in His image and shown the way

To do His will always to others I meet

In what I do and what I say

It is no little thing that He sends us His grace

All that we ever will need

To live our lives and to spread His love

In every word and in every deed

It is no little thing that He still remains

With us until the end of days

To be with us and to guide us with His love

To help us change our sinful ways

Yet I am called to do no big things

Just to live life as he has so shown

To do littlest things with the greatest love

And share the gifts His love has bestown

In little things I am called to share love

And to give what from Him is true gift

When I do even the smallest thing with love

In thanks, my heart does lift

Help me see that every little thing

You have sent to my life is a way

To find Him, and serve Him, in thanks

And move closer to Him every day

For nothing is too little to not bear all His love

No person or place or thing

Help me see His face in all that I do

And by my works, His praises to sing
