An Easter View

Easter is upon me true,

Around me, signs of spring

Ice to melt and gray to green

Buds to leaves their fullness brings.

Sweet sparrow chirp and robin song

They Feed and nest new.

New birth, new life in floral bloom

The scent and feel, warm blue.

Thank you Lord for what you do

For birth and change in view.

From dark to light, to day from night

I start again with you.

You died that we might live anew

Your light has brought me through

Refresh me as I start again

The life you bring me to.

An hour I spend to watch, to feel

To hear, to talk , to be.

I start again, refreshed, begin,

A spring of grace with thee.
