As shafts of brilliant white

Burn through the cover of night

Like fingers of God reaching down

To touch the earth today

The morning sun of Easter arises

Warming the earth with the light of love

New growth from waiting seed begins

Covering all with blessings of new life

Releasing the life awaiting within

I’m reawakened, refreshed, and reborn

With new life and hope and dreams

As leaves spring forth and birds now sing

This Easter morning blessing brings

As trees now turn from brown to green

And sun kissed water warms to touch

Complete me Lord, bring me life

Send Your blessings, streams of your love

Fill me with life and hope and dreams

In this new season of Your grace and love

Lift me up with your Holy breeze

Fill my life’s sails with blessings of new life

And carry me forth with grace from above

Help me start anew, afresh

With new life and strength and grace

And overcome my past and present

To heal and move forward in peace

And make my life Your holy space

I will rejoice and be glad

For Jesus the Lord has risen this day
