At times I have such worry and doubt

I know not what to do

My doubt gives way to lonesome fear

And I’m scared to try all things new

Now In hindsight I see Your holy will

So clearly then You guided me through

With Your quiet loving hand in mine

Without doubt I should rely totally on You

As I look back I can clearly see

Your guiding hand, Your will for me

Even hurt and pain and fear and doubt

Played t heir part in setting me free

I need to learn to trust in You

In what I say and what I do

To leave my anxiety in Your hands

And count my blessings as many, not few

So as times and changes challenge my life

Let me be comforted to always know

Jesus will always be here for me

In marvelous ways I am yet to know

Dear Jesus help me trust in You

And always avoid anguish and doubt

You are my safety, my salvation

You are the One I cannot do without.
