I spend time in silence now

Listening for Your call

Remaining quiet and still

As the silence of my life

Lies open to Your will

I look at You, really present

In Your presence is heard;

Without sound, without touch

Listening for Your voice

In the sound of my thoughts

In the quiet of my dreams

In the stillness of time

In all things clear yet unseen

I search for You and I am found

Being found I am shown Your love

In being shown I am called to follow

In following You I am called to love

In loving I find You

Then I hear Your voice in the silence

A gentle breeze, a comforting wind

Whispering:

Be still my son and hear Me

I am calling, beckoning, guiding

You are to go without fear

Without words said You speak so clearly

Telling me through things heard in silence

Showing me through things unseen

Moving me without touch or direction
