Who came to call so long ago

Appearing on a rocky hill to Juan Diego

You came to help show the way

You came to bring a message of life

In a time of persecution and pain

To crush the serpent ,ending human sacrifice

Oh sweet holy Lady of flowers and light

You came to remind us of God’s promise

That through His Son all is made new

By leaving your wondrous image for us

Oh sweet holy Lady of fragrance and song

You came to hold our hands and pray

That all life be honored with love

You listened and beautified that day

Oh sweet holy Lady of Guadalupe

On the hill of Tepeyac You came

To build and protect His Church

Built forever in His name

Oh sweet holy Lady of beauty and prayer

Protect us, the living and the unborn
