We have a Shepherd to guide and keep

Safety and comfort He gives

His smile it warms a troubled heart

We learn by how He lives.

We yearn to hear and feel and know

The stories long and true

He shares and cares enough to show

With patience leads us through.

A smile, a laugh, a glitter of eye

Sharing joy and spreading love

He leads and guides us on the way

Toward Truth and Light above

A certain peace He leaves behind

In words and voice and look

His comfort in faith and trust is clear

In life beyond the Book.

He spreads the joy, like water it flows

In streams of faith and peace

We’re fed and blessed by words and smiles

And grow in our belief.

We look for Him in who we are

And who we try to be

In you and I, we look to find

His hands and eyes to see.
