In midst of troubling times oh Lord

When I feel upset and so tense

On days when I feel lost and uneasy

Bring me your perfect peace and calm

Please help it all to make sense

Lord show me the way

Guide me each day

In Your presence today

In the darkest times of my longing

When I can’t seem to wait any more

For dreams and gifts and happy times

Send me Your everlasting patience

Help me anticipate what’s in store

In my total human weakness I fail

Sometimes I just can’t seem to thrive

I’m so burdened by my human frailty

Lift me up with Your loving power
