Oh Holy Spirit, with the help of Your grace

I will recognize my gifts and the gifts of others

And I will have the strength and willpower

To hold on to my Faith, to Hope in the Lord

And practice Charity in everything I do.

Open my heart, open my mind ,

To recognize and know You in all of creation

Help me Understand Your great mystery of love

And how You work through us at all times.

Give me Wisdom in faith, that I may make right decisions

That I may know what is truth and give sound counsel

That I may live rightly and truly by the light of the Word

That I may know Jesus in myself and others

Give me Fortitude to stay the right course

To run the good race in face of all odds

To persevere in following Your law

No matter the cost

May I always act in Reverence of The Lord

In what I do and what I say

In how I act with others and when I’m alone

Because I am His creation

Give me Your Counsel oh Holy Spirit

Show me the way

Give me Your guidance and guide me

As I follow life’s path every day

I am in Awe oh Spirit of God

Of Your power and might

Of Your boundless love

Of Your wonders in my life

Come Holy Spirit and shower Your gifts

Unworthy as I am to receive

Help me to see and to be and to feel

Your grace in my life every day

Bring me a new Pentecost oh Spirit of God

Change me oh Paraclete, source of all Love

Light the fire of my soul with Your grace

Help me know and use Your special gifts

That I may carry forth Your Word from this place
