The ever present pain of separation
The deep loneliness of the Holidays
The systemic fear of failure
The oppressing stress of insecurity
The unbearable emptiness of loss
The unsettling angst of uncertainty
The disappointment of expectation
The calculating coldness of business
The broad faithlessness of society
The many temptations which surround
The deep inadequacies I feel
The vacuousness of the unknown
The resulting impatience which pervades
The stylish sinfulness that is promoted
The tailored immorality that is accepted
The interpreted morality that is twisted to fit
The transparent surface-ness that rules
The self righteousness that is rewarded
The delusional rationalization that is embraced
The subtle bias and hatred that simmers near
The resulting loss of gentleness and respect
The worldÕs programmed contortion of love
All of this, our own tragic mis-creation
