That Blessed Moment

We humbly pray for Your blessing Lord

That together we conceive a child

That we be blessed with Your loving grace

And upon our family, You’ll smile

Our hearts pine for that moment of grace within

When new life begins to grow

Let a new soul be created in us this time

But when, only You will know

As Mary said yes to Your holy Angel

So many years ago

We say yes to Your will for us Oh Lord

With hope that You’ll make it so

We thank You for our love, dear Lord

And treasure that special gift

We ask that You help us grow in faith

That with new life, our hearts, You lift

Please grant us this gift of grace and joy

That we may grow and nurture our love

And we’ll lift a child, Your gift, to You

In praise and thanksgiving above

You who create all of life

Have a plan yet unknown for us

We know Your will guides all that we do

So with all our love, we trust
