Teach me by Your passion Lord

Show me the way of Your love

As You accepted the cup of Your suffering

As a gift from Your Father above

Help me accept the cup of my pain

In prayer and trust, as did You

Let me see Your face clearly

And from it gain strength to get through

You suffered for all of us, and for me

You, the Lord of all on a simple cross

With arms open wide to embrace us all

Showing us the way back, for we were lost

You redeemed us then from all our sin

With love, our souls, You did mend

As you broke the bonds of our sin and pain

And showed us a love without end

As I look for comfort and peace today

Help me Jesus, find the way

Now in my time of suffering and pain

In trust and hope, to You I pray

You died that we all may live again

In Your eternal grace and light

Let me feel Your boundless love today

In my darkness bring Your light

Jesus, my Savior, our Forgiver

Soothe and comfort me in my strife

Show me Your grace through all my pain

Help me bear it in hope,
