Bikes and boards and skates

Smiles and 2^nd takes

Sunglasses and tans

Convertibles and party vans

Picnics and parades

Hammocks in the shade

Pools and summer camps

Parks and skateboard ramps

Concerts and party blasts

Nights that last and last

A year half through

A year half still due

A month we all say

For dads and grads days

With Spring behind

And Summer now in View

Always and daily

Like the sun and sky blue
