Winter Perfection
Geometry of snowflakes,
Falling beauty and grace,
Fluff covered branches
Soft wrappings embrace.
Windows they glow,
So warm and so bright
Breath wisping on up,
In the cold stillness of night
Paths and footprints,
Crackling crust underfoot,
On mountains, off cliffs
Shrieking children alight.
A preview of spring
In the melt and the snow
Fresh and fortelling
To change what we know.
Wisps of breath rise in prayer
To Our God Who renews
Our God of Perfection
Our God of good news.
