I feel His tender touch

As I rise and greet another day

In all the day’s warmth and goodness

I listen closely, I hear Him say

My child I am with you always

I feel his warm embrace

As I face whatever comes my way

The good, the bad, the weariness

I close my eyes, pray and hear

I hear His gentle voice

As I listen to sweet birdsong

Covering the noise of life

For Him to say, today I long

I sense His comforting presence

As I struggle to make it each day

Thru all my troubles and trials in life

I close my eyes and feel Him say

I see His radiant smile

In the eyes of those who love me

It comes when I need, but expect it least

He brings good things and soothes me
