Pulling me away from center

To the left, to the right

Upward and downward

From the truth

Guiding me here or there

Toward or away

For this or that good thing

And always away

Are obstacles and barriers

Blocking the way

Hiding things from me

And me from many things

And keeping me

From really seeing

When I clear it all away

Avoiding the distractions

Breaking down the barriers

Overcoming the influences

The Truth is revealed

That He is here with us

I really seek,

I see my neighbor, Jesus

Who needs me and calls me

And who I need too

For we all together are one
