Anticipation
Awaiting the miracle
I look to my life and
wonder
What if?
Mary never said

according to Thy willÓ
And in this special time
of year
I look at what is asked of

said yes to

Her ÒyesÓ opened the gates
of heaven
To the greatest miracle
since creation
The birth of Jesus
Changing the future of
humanity
Forever
He knows all and is all
powerful
Yet He waits for me
To open my heart to Him
Waiting for my ÒYesÓ
In these four weeks of
preparation
For a time of new birth
and new life in Him
May I put away all fear |
and hold on to His love
May I put away all doubt | and open up to all hope
May I no longer turn a
deaf ear | and listen with my heart
May I overcome my
blindness | and see with eyes of love
Then listening anew to His
Baptismal call
With steady voice I will clearly
answer
ÒYesÓ.
Be it done to me according
to thy will.
