In an instant, all is changed

What had been gray, now crystal clear

In new light, in new view

Once confused, now understood

Oft times in surprising instance

Revealing the true me

For who I am, in deepest part

At times of new birth and change

When I have found my true heart

What change has happened then

When what was, is no more

When what is to be, begins

When what can be is uncovered

A new view shows what’s in store

Life is continuously revealed in epiphanies

Revelations in our sight

Times of leaving old behind

And moving toward the light

A change, a newness, awakens

As purpose becomes clear

At surprise times, epiphanies of life

Oft happen without fear nor tear

In a moment, truth often is revealed

To this event reconciling body and soul

A newness, a new time of beginning

One with God’s mission and goal

Lord bring me an epiphany

A moment of surprise in life’s mystery

A moment of clarity revealed

To my inmost self bring newness
