A Glimpse of Heaven
 
As I prepare to enter Your Eucharistic Presence
In pure wonder and amazement
I approach this place of peace
This place of loving presence
And come near as You asked
To spend but one hour
Watching, waiting, praying
Simply being here with You
 
To You I bring my faulted self,
Filled with so much burden
Which blocks my heart’s view from You
 
Yet in this special Eucharistic presence
My limited time is suspended
And filled with Your eternal love
For You lovingly invite me to come near
As You called the children to come
And in this place You really and truly are
As You intend to be present for all of us in heaven
Truly in this man made place
You have given us a glimpse of the divine
