Healing Prayer

As the elements of bread and wine
Were broken and shared as Eucharist
To remain with us in this place for all time
So was His human body that next day
Broken and shared for ever for all mankind
 
And as I kneel in Your Real Presence
I feel a closeness, only surpassed
By receiving You in full Communion
I feel amazingly close to You here
As I open my heart to You in total union
 
You broke bread and shared Yourself
And thus remain with us always
I with all my brokenness revealed
Long to be with You always
For with You and through You I am healed
 
Heal me
And the broken of the world with Your love
By Your boundless and eternal grace
Make me whole, relieve my strife
Help me bring Your healing love
To all those I meet in my life
